The University of New England seeks a collaborative, visionary Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs to join a highly innovative university at an exciting time. Reporting to the President, the Provost is the chief academic officer and oversees UNE’s multi-campus system including Portland and Biddeford campuses and six colleges.

Qualifications

• Earned terminal degree and credentials warranting the rank of professor.
• Established record of success in academic administration.
• Visionary leadership with collaborative approach.
• Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to multi-campus community.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of UNE's academic mission.
• Provide academic leadership for two campuses (Portland and Biddeford) and six colleges.
• Develop and implement the University's Strategic Plan and support scholarship and research.
• Foster shared governance, transparency, and cross-campus collaboration.
