Job summary

Pima Community College Library seeks an enthusiastic and student-focused librarian for a one-semester provisional position at PCC's Northwest Campus Library.

The successful candidate will provide information literacy instruction, reference services, and research consultations both online and in person, and engage in collection development. A Master’s degree from an ALA-accredited program is required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an ALA-accredited library program is required.
• Experience delivering information literacy instruction in multiple modalities.
• Experience providing reference services and research consultations.
• Experience creating web-based content such as guides and tutorials.

Responsibilities

• Design, deliver, and assess information literacy instruction in online and face-to-face settings.
• Embed librarianship in selected courses using D2L Brightspace LMS.
• Assist students, faculty, staff, and administrators with locating reliable information.
• Provide ready reference, consultations, demonstrations, and live chat support.
• Create and update research guides, tutorials, and other learning resources.
