Job summary

Santa Cruz METRO is hiring for Provisional Bus Operators. Safely operate METRO buses, assist passengers, collect fares, coordinate transfers, and provide excellent service. Minimum qualifications include a valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain a California Class B permit before appointment, plus a safe driving record.

Fluency in English and Spanish is desirable. Salaries start at $24.17–$40.01 per hour, with after-probation wages at $28.75 and after one year at $30.57 per hour.
