UnitedHealth Group in Richardson, TX is seeking a Data Entry Specialist to maintain production sets and meet turnaround times. You will transfer data from multiple systems into one system, verify accuracy against source documents, and apply knowledge of repricing and contract rates.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Capable of maintaining production set by the department and meeting established turnaround times.
• Plan, prioritize, organize, and complete work to meet established objectives
• Transfer data from multiple systems into a single system
• Verify data by comparing it to source documents
• Knowledgeable with Repricing systems and develop basic skills in the Repricing area.
• General Expectations:

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel (sort & filter data) and Microsoft Word (create & edit documents)
• Ability to key a minimum of 17 claims per hour and 119 claims per day
• Ability to start shift between 6:30 am - 8:00 am, working 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday

Preferred Qualifications:

• Some college (or higher)
• 1+ years of experience in data entry
• 1+ year of experience in healthcare claims research, analysis & or reporting
• 1+ year of experience in interpreting reimbursement methodologies and rates as outlined in provider agreements
