Job summary

OptumCare in Irvine, CA is hiring a Provider Relations Coordinator to act as a liaison with the physician network. You will support onboarding, provider communications, data management, and education, with focus on quality measures and performance improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities include issuing timely responses, coordinating with central departments, and preparing reports and scorecards to drive provider satisfaction and network performance.

Qualifications

• Health plan, managed care experience or related work experience.
• Intermediate level of experience with Microsoft Suite.
• Experience working within a team-oriented environment.
• Proven excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a point-of-contact to the physician network and respond to provider needs.
• Research and resolve issues and update providers and staff through resolution.
• Assist with provider onboarding, data management, and outreach to providers.
• Prepare monthly performance scorecards, reports, and action plan documentation.
• Support quality performance measures (HEDIS, CMS, CAHPS) and provider training.
