Summary of Position

Teladoc Health is seeking a detail-oriented and service-driven Provider Relations Representative to serve as the primary point of contact for our provider network. This role is pivotal in ensuring providers receive timely, accurate, and empathetic support related to weekly communications, scheduling logistics, onboarding processes, and platform access.

The Provider Relations Team is the central communication hub for contracted provider inquiries, working within a case management queue to triage, resolve, or escalate issues. Success in this role requires a deep understanding of internal workflows, cross-functional collaboration, and a passion for supporting providers who deliver care to our members.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Case Management & Provider Support
    • Respond to provider inquiries via a case management tool, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
    • Investigate and resolve consult support cases.
  • Onboarding & Administrative Support
    • Initiate background check invitations via third-party vendor systems and monitor background check dispositions.
    • Guide providers through training assessments and ensure completion milestones are met.
    • Provide ad hoc support for onboarding-related questions and troubleshooting.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination
    • Identify when inquiries require escalation or collaboration with other departments (e.g., Clinical Operations, IT, Payroll).
    • Maintain a working knowledge of organizational roles and responsibilities to route cases effectively.
    • Document interactions and resolutions with clarity and consistency.
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Qualifications Required for Position
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in provider relations, healthcare operations, or customer support
  • Strong organizational and customer service skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience using case management or CRM tools
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative mindset with a knack for problem-solving and resourcefulness
Qualifications Preferred for Position
  • Experience in healthcare, managed care, or provider network operations
  • Remote work experience

The base salary range for this position is $22-$24 hourly. In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements). Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications. This information is applicable for all full-time positions.
