Job summary

Modivcare is seeking an experienced Provider Relations Manager I to build and maintain positive relationships with transportation providers across the assigned market, supporting operational performance and service quality. The role partners with internal teams and external providers to strengthen network performance, resolve issues, and ensure safe, reliable transportation services.

Travel about 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Zero (0) plus years of experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly convey information, negotiate, and resolve conflict.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at varying levels.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Customer service mindset and the ability to create a positive experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
• Familiarity with non-emergency transportation brokerage is a plus.
• Knowledge of proprietary software or the ability to learn new systems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key relationship manager for transportation providers within an assigned market.
• Build and maintain productive provider relationships at the local and regional level.
• Represent the company in meetings with provider partners to manage performance and identify mutual solutions.
• Make decisions related to provider relationships and day-to-day operational needs.
