Job summary

Open Door Community Health Centers is seeking an Associate of Provider Recruitment & Retention in Arcata, CA. This role supports onboarding, engagement, retention, and communications for healthcare providers throughout employment.

You will collaborate across HR, Compliance, Medical Leadership, and Operations to ensure smooth onboarding, accurate records, and timely processes. A California driver’s license is required for travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational, administrative, customer service, and communication skills with the ability to support multiple projects and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate provider onboarding activities, schedules, travel, lodging, and related logistics.
• Attend onboarding huddles and maintain onboarding records, tracking tools, and program documentation.
• Assist with provider communications, notices, and distribution lists.
• Coordinate provider check-ins, stay interviews, exit interviews, and other retention activities.
• Assist with provider mixers, engagement events, community tours, and recognition events.
• Assist with provider agreement processing and workforce record maintenance.
• Coordinate Locum Tenens invoice processing and reimbursements, and related admin functions.
• Track leaves of absence and return-to-work activities.
• Support routine workforce reporting and data organization.
• Maintain provider files, electronic records, forms, templates, and shared drives.
• Create recruitment and retention materials and communications as needed.
• Collaborate with internal/external partners to support recruitment, onboarding, engagement, and retention initiatives.
