  • Monitor recruitment metrics, prepare regular performance reports, and present insights into leadership.
  • Represent NSIPA at provider meetings, conferences, and networking events to promote the organization and expand the network.

NSIPA provides a comprehensive suite of services, including credentialing and network operations, provider engagement, and contracting; care coordination and member outreach; and provider-and patient centered programs. As part of New York State’s 1115 Medicaid Waiver, NSIPA plays a key role in identifying, screening, and addressing health-related social needs by connecting Medicaid members to community-based resources and care supports. These services are designed to strengthen provider efficiency, address health related social care needs, and advance value‑based care and population health opportunities. Recognized as one of New York’s fastest‑growing IPAs, NSIPA supports improved clinical outcomes, enhanced provider performance, and cost savings for payers through its robust infrastructure and operational expertise.


Position Overview:

The Network Development/Business Development is responsible for driving the strategic growth of NSIPA’s provider network by leading recruitment and onboarding efforts for physicians, specialists, and ancillary providers. This role involves identifying network gaps and developing recruitment strategies to meet organizational goals.


The Provider Recruitment Lead collaborates closely with internal departments such as contracting, credentialing, quality, and operations to deliver seamless provider experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, relationship‑building skills, and a strategic mindset to drive network expansion and support organizational goals in a competitive healthcare environment.



  • Develop and execute provider recruitment strategies to support NSIPA’s network growth objectives.

  • Design targeted recruitment plans to identify gaps in specialties and geographic coverage.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, specialties, and providers to foster long term engagement.

  • Serve as a trusted liaison between the organization, physicians, and providers, supporting communication, engagement, retention, and satisfaction.

  • Collaborate with contracting and credentialing teams to streamline provider enrollment and improve efficiency.

  • Address issues or escalations proactively and coordinate solutions with internal departments.

  • Monitor recruitment metrics, prepare regular performance reports, and present insights into leadership.

  • Stay informed on market trends and adjust recruitment strategies to remain competitive.

  • Represent NSIPA at provider meetings, conferences, and networking events to promote the organization and expand the network.

  • Strong understanding of provider recruitment and network development strategies.

  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret and act on complex data.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast‑paced environment.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, experience with CRM systems or similar tools is a plus.


Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business, or a related field

  • Familiar with credentialing, contracting, and compliance processes.

  • Knowledge of managed care and value‑based care models.

  • Experience managing performance across multiple‑payer contracts.
