LTS is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Provider Network Development Specialist who will play a critical role in expanding and maintaining a robust network of medical and dental providers to support the organization’s medical examination programs. This position is responsible for identifying, engaging, and contracting with healthcare groups and clinics across assigned territories. The role involves direct negotiation of agreement terms, coordination of credentialing processes, and proactive resolution of provider-related issues. Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders, the Development Specialist ensures provider network adequacy and contract compliance across both commercial and government programs. The work is primarily conducted in a home office or remove working environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Proactively sources and recruits medical groups, facilities, and providers, building strong relationships with clinic staff and administrators to support the occupational health service line.
  • Negotiates, amends, and renews provider service agreements and exam component pricing in alignment with company policies and contract parameters.
  • Oversees the completion and submission of Provider Service Agreements, coordinates credentialing activities by liaising with the Credentialing Department.
  • Maintains accurate clinic and provider records in the provider management system.
  • Resolves complex provider issues and escalations with professionalism and efficiency, often using advanced reporting tools.
  • Monitors provider network coverage within assigned territories and proactively addresses gaps by recruiting them strategically.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert on commercial and government healthcare contract requirements; collaborates closely with Program Managers to resolve issues.
  • Works cross-functionally with internal teams to achieve recruitment targets and broader organizational goals; contributes to a high-performance team culture.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned in support of organization or department objectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required and a minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience in a healthcare, administrative, or client-facing role. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Experience with provider service agreement negotiations or subcontracting highly preferred.
  • Ability to contribute to cross functional project teams or task forces to support integration efforts, communicate updates, and ensure alignment with evolving organizational priorities, new contracts, and policy requirements.
  • Support compliance initiatives and organizational standards, including OSHA VPP, ISO, JCAHO, AAAHC, NRCME (DOT), and other applicable regulatory frameworks.
  • Demonstrate comfort and capability in negotiations settings.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required, along with analytical thinking and effective problem-solving. Must be adaptable, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and comfortable initiating contact with prospective provider network partners.
  • Requires prolonged periods of sitting or standing while using a computer and standard office equipment.
