Position Objective

The Provider Network Development Manager promotes growth by offering value-based solutions to primary care practices and organizations, encouraging them to join BHG’s affiliate provider network. Responsibilities include building a pipeline of potential providers, assessing practice needs, showcasing solutions, and negotiating contracts. The role demands strong communication, presentation, negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of Value-based Care (VBC) and primary care market dynamics. It is an individual contributor role within a specific region, requiring significant travel within designated areas.

Responsibilities include:
  • Developing primary care provider relationships and executing contracts.
  • Researching and leveraging lead sources to build a provider pipeline.
  • Prospecting and nurturing inbound leads.
  • Seeking referrals and assessing provider suitability.
  • Supporting new business initiatives and marketing campaigns.
  • Acting as a brand ambassador and raising awareness of BHG’s value proposition.
  • Participating in networking and community events.
  • Educating providers on VBC and ACO benefits.
  • Negotiating contracts and providing performance reports.
  • Collaborating on presentations and supporting provider onboarding.
  • Achieving growth targets and maintaining accurate records.
Position Requirements/Skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Healthcare Administration, Business, Marketing, or related fields.
  • 5+ years in contracting, business development, sales, or healthcare operations; or 3+ years in VBC/ACO network development.
  • Proven sales experience and proficiency with CRM tools.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%+ of the time.
