Job summary

Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi seeks a Provider Experience Consultant to develop and maintain Network Provider relationships across the state and to identify quality improvements for Member services.

The role entails creating trainings for providers, leading education and monitoring of value-based programming, and analyzing provider feedback to enhance the overall experience. Occasional travel within Mississippi may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Healthcare Administration or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• At least one year experience in provider relations or a provider office setting.
• Ability to present and speak publicly.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of an organization.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with providers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Network Provider relationships across the state.
• Develop trainings to educate Network Providers to better serve Members.
• Lead education and monitoring of value-based programs.
• Analyze data related to Network Providers' inquiries, service utilization and claim filing.
• Target, schedule and train Network Providers and ancillary staff within clinics/health systems.
• Gather and respond to Network Provider feedback to improve the provider experience.
• Participate in recruiting and monitoring Provider participation in corporate value-based programs.
