Job summary

Central Peninsula Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Provider Enrollment Specialist to manage enrollment, revalidation, and credentialing for physicians and other professional providers.

The role ensures timely submissions for Medicare, Medicaid, VA, and commercial payors, while maintaining CAQH setup and provider rosters. Under the guidance of Revenue Cycle leadership, you will build professional relationships to obtain enrollment paperwork and signatures.

Qualifications

• 3 years of general office experience including managing complex documentation and records.
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and deadlines with strong organizational skills.
• CPCS certification within 18 months of employment (NAMSS).

Responsibilities

• Perform provider enrollment, revalidation, and re-credentialing for Medicare, Medicaid, and VA.
• Submit and maintain Provider Rosters as needed.
• Manage CAQH initial setup and attestations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payor enrollment requirements and software.
• Establish professional relationships with providers to obtain enrollment paperwork and signatures.

Full Time , Day , Monday-Friday full time, choice of start time between 6am-9am

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Provider Enrollment Specialist is responsible for facilitating all stages of enrollment and payor credentialing maintenance of Physicians and other professional providers that Central Peninsula Hospital employs and/or bills for. Under the direction of the Director of Revenue Cycle, and guidance from the Revenue Cycle Operations Manager and Central Billing Office Manager, they perform individual provider enrollment, revalidation/re-credentialing, and disenrollment functions for Medicare, Medicaid, and VA, and complete credentialing with contracted commercial payors. Maintains and submits Provider Rosters as needed. Manages Provider's CAQH initial setup and re-attestations. The incumbent will be instrumental in ensuring accurate and compliant enrollment submissions, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of payor enrollment requirements and software, and establishing professional relationships with providers to obtain necessary enrollment paperwork and signatures. Timeliness and attention to detail are crucial in this role to ensure the seamless integration of providers into the healthcare system.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma/GED


• 3 years of general office experience to includemanaging complex documentation and records, coordinating multiple tasks and deadlines, maintaining databases or tracking systems, conducting research and problem-solving activities, demonstrating strong organizational and detail-oriented skills


• Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) through the National Association of Medical Staff Services (NAMSS) within 18 months of employment
