Job summary

Central Peninsula Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Provider Enrollments Assistant to support enrollment and credentialing processes for physicians and other providers.

The role reports to the Revenue Cycle leadership and focuses on accurate, timely submissions and vendor coordination. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years of general office experience, and a Provider Enrollment Specialist Certificate within 1 year.

Qualifications

• Two years of general office experience with document management, deadlines, and data tracking preferred.
• Provider Enrollment Specialist Certificate (PESC) within 1 year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and maintain communication with the contract enrollment vendor to support enrollment and credentialing.
• Complete provider un-affiliation for Medicare, Medicaid, VA, and contracted payors as directed.
• Manage provider rosters and initial CAQH setup and re-attestations as assigned.

Full Time , Day , Monday-Friday full time, choice of start time between 6am-9am

POSITION SUMMARY: The Provider Enrollments Assistant is responsible for initiating and maintaining regular communication with the contract enrollment vendor to support all stages of provider enrollment and payor credentialing for Physicians and other professional providers employed by or billed for through Central Peninsula Hospital. Under the direction of the Director of Revenue Cycle, and with guidance from the Revenue Cycle Operations Manager and Central Billing Office Manager, this position completes individual provider un-affiliation for Medicare, Medicaid, VA, and contracted commercial payors. The specialist also maintains and submits provider rosters as needed and completes initial CAQH setup and re-attestations for providers as directed. The incumbent plays a key role in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant enrollment submissions, staying current with payor requirements and related software, and building professional relationships with providers to obtain necessary documentation and signatures. Strong attention to detail and adherence to deadlines are essential to support the seamless onboarding and integration of providers into the healthcare system.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma/GED
• A minimum of two(2) years of general office experience to includemanaging complex documentation and records, coordinating multiple tasks and deadlines, maintaining databases or tracking systems, conducting research and problem-solving activities, and demonstrating strong organizational and detail-oriented skills
• Provider Enrollment Specialist Certificate (PESC) through DecisionHealth within 1 year of employment
