Summary

Gainwell Technologies is responsible for all Provider Enrollment and Management functions for the Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Medical Assistance Services.

The primary role of a Senior Associate Customer Support for the Virginia Medicaid Provider Enrollment Services is to provide exceptional customer support for incoming and outgoing Provider Enrollment Applications and Management Inquiries.

Help create the power in Gainwell’s processes as we develop purpose-built technologies and solutions that yield better health and human services outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Answer telephones and respond to highly complex customer questions and/or forward calls to appropriate personnel; record inquiries and update account history with results, including proper documentation.
  • Process and distribute incoming and outgoing mail for multiple clients by established service-level agreements.
  • Perform data entry and match documents to appropriate accounts to ensure up-to-date and accurate information.
  • Interface with team members, management, and customers about customer service issues.
  • Review client reports weekly to ensure data integrity; prepare and submit reports to management.
What we're looking for
  • Knowledge of the Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Medical Assistance Service (DMAS) Program and Policies.
  • Previous call center experience with provider enrollment and management of provider information for a Medicaid program, or other healthcare organization(s).
  • Previous experience in data entry and utilizing a documentation application to record incoming and outgoing call inquiries.
  • Ability to answer calls according to documented business requirements and performance standards.
  • Ability to professionally interface with internal customers, DMAS, and the provider community.
What you should expect in this role
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a healthcare-related field.
  • The candidate must complete the assessment before moving forward in the process.
  • Candidates must live in the Charleston, WV area or within a 30-mile radius of Charleston, WV.

The pay range for this position is $39,100.00 - $55,900.00 per year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
