Job summary

HMS, a Gainwell Company, in Alaska is hiring Provider Enrollment Specialists for the Alaska MMIS Fiscal Agent contract. The Specialists are responsible for interfacing with providers, processing applications, and performing data entry related to provider enrollment.

You will verify and maintain provider data, handle correspondence, research issues, and ensure compliance with policies while delivering clear guidance to providers and supporting operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in credentialing, medical billing, or healthcare.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Summary

Your role in our mission

What we're looking for

Minimum of one year of experience in credentialing, medical billing, or healthcare.

Demonstrated professionalism when communicating with providers and customers.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet aggressive deadlines.

Detail-oriented with the ability to follow directions and accurately track and follow up on assignments and enrollment applications.

Proficient in computer systems, including Microsoft Office, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Hybrid role with ability to work in the Anchorage, AK office preferred, with the possibility of working remotely from another state for the right candidate.

The pay range for this position is $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
