Job Description

The Provider Enrollment Specialist's primary responsibilities include receiving provider credentialing documents, pre-screening for completeness, scanning, and re-routing. This role ensures accurate and timely processing of credentialing documents and involves reviewing, scanning, filing, and coordinating the execution of provider agreements. The specialist also enters provider data related to applications, contract information, status changes, and payee changes.

Additionally, the role manages purchasing activities throughout the procurement lifecycle and oversees the Oracle iProcurement System, providing professional assistance to internal customers across multiple locations. The specialist takes independent action to ensure deliveries are met, standards are adhered to, and internal follow-up is achieved. It also involves facilitating requests and interfacing with vendors.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate records by administering centralized Purchasing standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Develop, implement, and oversee Purchasing policies and procedures.
  • Review purchases for compliance and educate end users on policies.
  • Work with end users to develop specifications for equipment, services, and supplies.
  • Identify and evaluate vendors; develop alternative sources of supply.
  • Lead and manage the RFP process and corporate purchasing staff.
  • Establish delivery schedules, monitor progress, and resolve issues with clients and suppliers.
  • Evaluate and audit contract performance to ensure compliance.
  • Manage disputes and track resolution processes.
  • Drive purchasing activities, including evaluations, updates, and education sessions.
  • Continuously improve purchasing processes.
  • Manage corporate programs like travel, credit cards, and office supplies.
  • Lead quarterly procurement reporting and support the Executive Sourcing Council.
  • Assist with cross-functional initiatives and other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Credentialing experience is a plus, in any medical-related field.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of Excel, PDFs, and data entry.
  • Ability to work independently.
Training:
  • Training on Credentialing System and processes will be provided, including initial full-day training via video.
Equipment:
  • No computer equipment will be provided; candidates will use VDI. Two screens are preferred for efficiency.
Note:
  • This is not a Coordinator role.
