Job summary

AltaMed is seeking a Provider Directory Specialist to maintain the accuracy, completeness and integrity of AltaMed’s provider directory data across all lines of business. You will perform audits, resolve data discrepancies and validate demographic and credentialing details in collaboration with Provider Relations, IT, Compliance, and Network Administration.

The role involves outreach to provider offices and leveraging external data sources to verify credentials and patient access information,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years in healthcare, or a HS diploma with 6 years in provider data, network ops, or credentialing.
• Experience with CMS provider directory compliance and data validation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain provider directory data accuracy across systems.
• Audit data regularly and resolve discrepancies.
• Validate demographic and credentialing details.
• Collaborate with Provider Relations, IT, Compliance, and Network Administration.

Education

Bachelor’s degree with 2 years in healthcare (provider data, network operations, or credentialing)

High School Diploma with 6 years in healthcare provider data/credentialing
