Job summary

Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey is seeking an experienced data professional to support the Government Programs provider data systems. You will supervise the Provider File Area, resolve data errors, and coordinate system enhancements with current and planned platforms.

The role requires a High School Diploma/GED and 5+ years in provider data management in healthcare/insurance, plus strong analytical, detail-oriented, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required; 5+ years in provider data management in healthcare/insurance.
• Knowledge of healthcare provider systems and claims processing.
• Understanding of managed care and indemnity business models.
• Familiarity with provider credentialing processes, data integration, system enhancements, and testing methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Provider File Area to maintain Government Programs provider data accurately and timely.
• Identify and resolve data errors; document best practices.
• Investigate incidents affecting data integrity and analyze trends.
• Prepare specifications for system enhancements and testing criteria.
• Produce departmental reporting and participate in workgroups/committees.
