Job summary

Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey is seeking a Provider Data Management support role to ensure accurate Government Programs provider data and timely loading. You will screen provider data, coordinate procedures, and handle sensitive projects with a high level of attention.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of provider data management experience in healthcare/insurance, strong analytic skills, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in provider data management in Healthcare/insurance is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in direction and supervision of the Provider File Area to ensure accurate and timely maintenance of Government Programs provider data.
• Resolve provider data errors by identifying causation and recommending improvements; document best practices.
• Assist in preparing specifications for system enhancements to ensure provider files integrate with current systems.
• Produce and develop specifications and testing criteria with documentation for data accuracy.
• Evaluate and recommend improvements to current operating procedures to enhance efficiency and controls.
• Handle important or sensitive projects requiring careful attention.
• Produce departmental reporting for quality and production, including vendor audits.
• Represent the department on workgroups and committees.
