Job summary

PATH (People Assisting The Homeless) (Old) is seeking a Credentialing Representative to manage the set up and maintenance of essential enrollment systems.

You will handle Medicare PECOS, MaineCare MIHMS, and NPI site enrollments for over 96 providers, ensuring timely and accurate payment of claims, with responsibility for annual re-credentialing across contracted insurers.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school education; associates degree preferred.
• Previous experience in a similar credentialing role is preferred.
• Experience with enrollment of providers and insurance listings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain Medicare PECOS, MaineCare MIHMS, and NPI sites for providers.
• Enroll providers with contracted insurances to ensure claims are paid.
• Oversee annual re-credentialing with contracted insurers.

Description

The Business Office Credentialing Representative shall be responsible for the set up and maintenance of the Medicare PECOS website, MaineCare MIHMS website, RFGH NPI sites, I&A site and enrollment of all of the RFGH (96+) providers with all contracted commercial, state and federal insurances to ensure payment of all claims to RFGH. The Credentialing Rep is also responsible for annual re-credentialing with all contracted commercial insurances.

Qualities : Performs tasks in a friendly, tactful, and professional manner with regard to other employees, outside agencies, and the general public and patients.

Requirements : The Credentialing Representative must have a minimum of a high school education, Associates Degree preferred. Previous experience in a similar role preferred.

The pay range for this position is $22.76 to $38.61 per hour, based on relevant education, qualifications, and experience
