Job summary

Independent Living Systems (ILS) is seeking a Credentialing Coordinator to ensure that all contracted providers meet regulatory standards and internal policies. You will manage credentialing from application through verification, re-credentialing, and ongoing monitoring in collaboration with providers and regulatory bodies.

The role supports quality member care and risk management by maintaining accurate credentialing records and timely reporting for audits.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in healthcare administration, business, or related field.
• 1 year of credentialing or related administrative experience in a healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of credentialing standards, regulatory requirements, and accreditation processes.

Responsibilities

• Administer end-to-end credentialing and re-credentialing for contracted providers.
• Coordinate with licensing boards and verification services to ensure timely credentialing data.
• Maintain credentialing databases and records to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Prepare credentialing reports for internal audits and external reviews.
• Collaborate with departments to resolve credentialing-related issues.
