Job summary

BayMark Health Services is seeking a detail-oriented Credentialing Coordinator to join our team. This temporary role supports credentialing and enrollment across the organization, managing applications, licenses, renewals, and data accuracy to keep processes moving smoothly.

You will coordinate with physicians and internal departments, maintain documentation, and use CAQH, NPPES, and PECOS to update provider information while tracking deadlines and resolving issues promptly.

Qualifications

  • Three years of credentialing license or related experience preferred.
  • Healthcare credentialing/provider enrollment experience preferred.
  • Experience with CAQH, NPPES, PECOS strongly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate initial and renewal credentialing applications for practitioners and facilities.
  • Review applications for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Collect, verify, and maintain provider credentials, licenses, certifications, and other documentation.
  • Maintain accurate practitioner and facility information in credentialing databases and systems.
  • Utilize CAQH, NPPES, and PECOS to maintain and update provider information.
  • Monitor credentialing, licensing, and renewal deadlines to ensure timely completion.
  • Communicate with physicians, APPs, counselors, facility leadership, and licensing entities.
  • Partner with HR, Legal, Accounting, and Operations to obtain information and complete applications.
  • Maintain documentation and audit trails throughout the credentialing process.
  • Prioritize multiple credentialing projects and deadlines across stages.
  • Troubleshoot credentialing issues and follow up on missing information.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Provider Credentialing & Enrollment Coordinator

BayMark Health Services is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Credentialing Coordinator to join our team. This position plays an important role in supporting the credentialing and enrollment of healthcare providers and facilities across our organization.

The Credentialing Coordinator will manage credentialing applications, maintain accurate provider and facility information, track licenses and renewals, and work closely with practitioners, leadership, and internal departments to keep credentialing processes moving efficiently and accurately.

What You'll Do
  • Coordinate initial and renewal credentialing applications for healthcare practitioners and facilities.

  • Communicate regularly with physicians, advanced practice providers, counselors, facility leadership, and credentialing or licensing entities.
  • Partner with internal departments, including Human Resources, Legal, Accounting, and Operations, to obtain information and complete required applications.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and audit trails throughout the credentialing process.
  • Prioritize multiple credentialing projects and deadlines across different stages of completion.
  • Troubleshoot credentialing issues and proactively follow up on outstanding information or documentation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
  • Three years of related experience reviewing applications, maintaining databases, auditing documentation, or supporting credentialing/licensing processes preferred.
  • Healthcare credentialing, provider enrollment, or medical staff experience preferred.
  • Experience with CAQH, NPPES, and PECOS strongly preferred.
  • Experience in behavioral health or substance use disorder treatment is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify missing or inaccurate information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
  • Ability to take initiative, solve problems, and adjust priorities as business needs change.
