Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a seasoned analyst to support Cost of Care and Provider Contracting teams. You will analyze large healthcare data, lower claims costs, and help improve quality of care while boosting member and provider network satisfaction.

You will develop and maintain databases, build reports and dashboards, and provide expert advice to Medical Directors and management on cost-of-care issues, using SQL, SAS, Teradata, Excel, and visualization tools.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in analytical, managed care payor or provider environment.
• Experience in statistical analysis and healthcare modeling.
• Experience with Medicare & Commercial Lines of Business.
• Experience with relational databases and query tools.
• Advanced Excel and MS Office; Tableau/BO or other reporting tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical support to Cost of Care and Provider Contracting teams.
• Lower claims costs, improve quality of care, and increase member/provider satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain databases to track performance.
• Analyze data and summarize performance using statistical procedures.
• Create and present business performance reports; note deviations.
• Develop diagnostic/tracking data translating business requirements into decision tools.
• Write queries/reports and train users on applications developed.
