What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Maintain and coordinate the process of establishing pricing arrangements with provider groups and facilities
- Create standard contracts for providers within the Health Plan service area
- Engage in provider recruitment activities to build and maintain compliant networks
- Analyze and negotiate financial impacts of contract terms and reimbursement rates
- Ensure compliance with federal program participation regulations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum educational requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred in finance, business, healthcare administration, or communications
- Prior experience in healthcare insurance or network management, including reimbursement methodologies
- Proficiency in contract reading and redlining
- Strong skills in analyzing, communicating, and negotiating contract terms
- Ability to travel occasionally for meetings and conferences
