Job Title: Provider Auditor Educator — Profee (PB)

Location: Remote (Must reside in TX, OK, TN, LA, AR, FL, GA, SC, or NE)

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM (CST preferred)

Industry: Healthcare / Medical Coding & Auditing

Pay: $30 - $38/hr (BOE)

Our client is a leading healthcare organization committed to excellence in clinical documentation and provider education. They are currently expanding their team to support coding integrity and provider training across multiple specialties using EPIC.

Job Description:

We are seeking two highly skilled and experienced Provider Auditor Educators for Profee (PB) coding who can hit the ground running. These remote roles are focused on reviewing surgical encounters, auditing providers, and delivering real-time, virtual education.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review surgical encounters in EPIC Charge Review
  • Conduct virtual provider audits and documentation education
  • Provide coding expertise and clarify documentation for accurate ICD-10 and CPT coding
  • Research and update provider education materials
  • Plan and execute ongoing provider and staff training
  • Interpret and communicate regulatory changes and coding updates
  • Maintain accurate audit logs and meet project deadlines
  • Collaborate with providers to resolve unclear or missing documentation
  • Ensure compliance with official guidelines, regulatory requirements, and internal policies
Qualifications:
  • Highly proficient in at least one of the following specialties:
  • Hospitalist, Palliative Care, Cardiology, Urology, Gastroenterology, Family Medicine, OB/GYN, Bariatrics, or Pediatrics
  • Strong experience with EPIC system required
  • Proven background in auditing and provider education
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with providers and support staff
  • Must reside in an approved state: Texas, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Louisiana, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, or Nebraska
