Job summary

Power H2 in Columbus, Ohio, is looking for a Prototyping Specialist to assist in the development of next-generation AEM Electrolyzers. This role involves managing fabrication, ensuring systems are functional, and collaborating across teams to support testing and validation of prototypes.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in prototyping and a solid work ethic. Responsibilities include translating designs into physical systems, ensuring maintenance of the facility equipment, and providing technical support and problem-solving for production requirements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in a maintenance, fabrication, or general trades role.
• Familiarity with gas or fluid handling systems like compressed air and deionized water.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage fabrication area, ensuring proper tools and equipment are available and maintained.
• Translate CAD drawings into physical systems for prototype electrolyzers.
• Support design-for-manufacturability improvements through hands-on insights.

Skills

Hands-on experience in maintenance, fabrication, or general trades

Proficiency with hand and power tools

Ability to read basic engineering drawings

Basic MIG or TIG welding skills
