Responsibilities

• User Training: Refine training methodologies and mentor core users of the research core.
• Experiment Support: Lead complex projects requiring customized solutions within the research core.
• Facility/Instrument Support: Lead and manage research projects within the research core.
• Technique Development: Contribute to development of research strategies and new technologies.
• Data Analysis/Interpretation: Analyze complex scientific data and provide insights.
• Equipment Procurement: Assist in evaluation, acquisition, and maintenance of core equipment.
• Professional Development: Stay updated with trends and present at conferences.
• Scientific Participation: Collaborate on manuscript preparation and grant proposals.
• Staff Training and Mentoring: Mentor junior staff and support professional growth.
• Leadership: Collaborate with senior core leadership on initiatives.
• Finance and Admin: Support budgets and strategic plans for the research core.
• Vendor Relations: Oversee vendor partnerships and evaluate performance.
• Education and Outreach: Develop tours and events within the core.
