Job summary

Menasha Corporation is seeking a Prototype Technician to prepare prototype tools and produce samples at our Piedmont, SC facility. You will operate various welding and fabrication equipment, review samples with designers, and ensure welds meet specifications for fit and function.

Starting hourly pay is $22.00, with benefits after 30 days including medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) match, and an annual incentive plan.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of welding/fabrication experience.
• Ability to train others.
• Must be able to pass Level III Weld Test.

Responsibilities

• Operate prototype tools to prepare samples and ensure proper fit and function.
• Review samples with designer and verify welding quality per drawings.
• Inspect welds for structural soundness and machine safety checks.
• Start up/shut down machines and maintain safe work practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and 5S/CI activities.
