Job summary

Technical Professionals Group is seeking a TPG Driver (L3) to safely operate test vehicles across multiple locations in Southwest Michigan. You will document observations, report issues to specialists, and follow strict confidentiality as you simulate typical customer driving scenarios.

The role emphasizes safety, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to shifts and travel requirements while maintaining clear written and verbal communication with engineers and technicians.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record (past 5 years).
• Minimum of 5 years of driving experience with a proven record of safe driving practices.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle systems, including mechanical and electronic components.
• Willingness to learn and perform basic mechanical wrenching as needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate assigned vehicles on specified routes across various locations.
• Perform daily vehicle evaluations, cycling through 100+ components per shift.
• Simulate typical customer driving behavior based on provided instructions.
• Accurately report observations, concerns, or issues to technicians and engineers.
• Prioritize safety at all times, including reporting near-misses and safety concerns.
• Complete approximately 80% of work hours driving and 20% inspecting and reporting.
