Festo Corporation in Mason, OH is seeking a skilled Technician to support prototype builds and transition them to serial production. You will help identify tooling, build prototypes per documentation, and communicate issues across kickoff through testing.

The role requires reading schematics, basic electrical knowledge, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Travel may be needed; flexibility in hours is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year in custom products assembly.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
• SAP experience is a plus.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsabilités

• Compare BOMs to schematics and assembly drawings and communicate discrepancies to engineering.
• Identify tooling/tools, jigs/fixtures for efficient serial production.
• Build prototypes per documentation provided.
• Record and communicate missing or inaccurate information to engineering.
• Confirm build complies with workmanship and industry standards.
• Analyze production steps and calculate standard production time by operation.
• Confirm/optimize quality check lists (torque charts, checks).
• Attend and participate in project meetings.
• Manage and report status on open and upcoming projects.
• Build and maintain relationships with design engineers.
• Assist in harness build and construction documentation.
