Job summary

EVERGOODS in Bozeman, MT seeks a Sample Technician to assemble development prototypes, create mock-ups, and document material data for BOM/SPEC. The role collaborates closely with Product Developers and Designers to refine build quality and ensure alignment with design intent.

The ideal candidate will have strong sewing knowledge, hands-on sewing skills, familiarity with cut-and-sew processes, and comfort using Google Workspace and Excel for document management.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of sewing construction, production processes and machinery.
• Detail-oriented and thorough in following specs and building samples.
• Ability to document build details (raw materials, cut lengths, sub-assembly stages).
• Collaborate with Product Team and designers to troubleshoot and refine prototypes.
• Experience with mock-ups and test unit assemblies for development.

Responsibilities

• Prototype and sample assembly.
• Mock-up and field test assembly.
• Provide insight and feedback on the physical build of EVERGOODS product developments.
• Record relevant raw material data for use in the BOM and SPEC.
• Check final BOM and SPEC for accuracy before submission to production.
• Regular organization and maintenance of the shop space and tools.
