Job summary

US Conec, Ltd. is seeking a Prototype Procurement & CAD Specialist to drive rapid product development. You will coordinate prototype sourcing, manage suppliers, and handle purchasing activities while preparing technical documentation and CAD updates.

You will collaborate with R&D, Product Management, and Supply Chain to ensure prototypes and low-volume components are delivered on time and to spec, supporting urgent business needs and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor degree with relevant experience in prototype development, purchasing, supply chain, or engineering operations.
• Experience communicating with internal stakeholders and external suppliers via phone, email, and virtual meetings.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate prototype molding, machining, stamping, and low-volume manufacturing vendor activities.
• Develop RFQ packages for prototype components and assemblies with R&D and Product Management.
• Review vendor quotations and provide DFx feedback to keep projects on track.
