Job summary

Heron Power seeks an experienced Production Leader to own the transition from prototype to volume manufacturing. You will build and lead the pilot technician team, define program processes, and partner with design, supply chain, and quality to ensure repeatable, high-quality hardware on a factory floor.

You will drive readiness gates, manage ramps to production, and collaborate across engineering, EPMs, and manufacturing, maintaining a no-surprises approach to schedules and risk.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in NPI, prototype build, or manufacturing eng. in hardware.
• 2–3+ years managing a technician or build team.
• Experience owning prototype/early engineering builds end-to-end.
• Experience transitioning from prototype to production with ramp-to-volume.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end build program execution for prototype and early engineering builds.
• Lead the pilot technician team and scale structure and career paths.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to keep builds aligned with a single plan.
