Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3D printing experience required.
• Technical training or a degree in manufacturing technology, mechanical design, machining, or related field preferred.
• Experience with CNC machines, lathes, and mills is a plus.
• Prior experience in prototype, production, or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Knowledge of shop safety and equipment operation.

Responsibilities

• Operate machining equipment, power tools, and 3D printers safely and effectively.
• Assemble prototypes and select materials based on design requirements.
• Set up machines, load materials, and calibrate equipment for accurate production.
• Inspect finished products and peer work to ensure quality standards.
• Stage production areas, perform basic machine maintenance, and order materials as needed.
• Maintain records, assist with quotes, and track R&D documentation.
• Communicate with external clients regarding quotes, timelines, and production runs.
• Collaborate with teams to improve processes and support production goals.
• Help manage shop operations to keep a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
