Job summary

Technicians will be cross‑trained across multiple workstations, contributing to build and validation of a new product from start to finish in a fast‑paced, research‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical, electro‑mechanical, or robotics assembly environments.
• Ability to work with small, delicate components and perform precision tasks.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written work instructions and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assemble fiber optic components and prototype products hands‑on.
• Operate precision tools and equipment (microscopes, crimpers, cutters) faithfully.
• Conduct visual inspections and quality checks against standards.
• Follow detailed work instructions and engineering drawings.
• Record production data, measurements, and test results.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and report issues to engineering.
• Rotate across multiple stations to learn the full build process.
• Support manufacturing, testing, and process improvement activities.
