Job summary

Sanmina Corporation in Huntsville, AL is seeking an Engineering Technician to support design, test check-out, modification and assembly of prototype electro-mechanical systems. You will work from schematics to perform testing, troubleshooting and debugging of assemblies.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, an associate degree in electronics, IPC-610 certification, and at least two years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred AAS Degree in electronics engineering technology.
• IPC-610 Certified Solderer preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate cables, PCBs, sub-assemblies, and test stations; maintain test stations.
• Soldering, cable fabrication and installation, cabinet/rack assembly, troubleshooting of assemblies.
• Read electrical schematics and follow assembly drawings.
• Interact with mechanical and electrical engineering staff; use test equipment.
