Job summary

TEL US is seeking an on-site technician to support design, test, and assembly of prototype electro‑mechanical systems and specialized test equipment. You will work from schematics and plans to perform testing, fault isolation and troubleshooting across electronic circuits, photonics and logic systems.

The role involves operation of test equipment, analysis of malfunctions, and collaboration with engineering to construct and validate test setups. Requires relevant degree or experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or equivalent education with related experience is required.
• Alternative combinations of education and experience are acceptable as listed in the posting.
• Military technical training or field experience may substitute for certain degrees.

Responsibilities

• Supports design, test, check-out, modification, fabrication and assembly of prototype electro‑mechanical systems and related test equipment.
• Works on applications including electronic circuits, photonics and logic systems.
• Relies on schematics, diagrams, and plans to perform testing and troubleshooting.
• Performs operational testing and fault isolation on systems and equipment.
• Assists in determining remedies for malfunctions and equipment issues.
• Assists in the design, construction, test and check-out of test equipment.
