You’ll work at the forefront of blockchain infrastructure, designing and optimizing the foundational layers of a high-performance, scalable decentralized network on our Storage team. You’ll be helping build the most performant end‑to‑end solution for a massive amount of data as the Sei network hits mainstream traction. Responsibilities

• Write code to build the core Sei blockchain (execution, consensus, state management, etc.)
• Analyze and own the end‑to‑end performance of Sei’s EVM implementations.
• Proactively identify and drive optimizations and improvements to the product.
• Take ownership over your work and the work of the team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of infrastructure engineering experience
• 2+ years of EVM specific work in building and scaling a Layer 1 blockchain's performance
• Deep end‑to‑end understanding of the EVM from execution to storage
• A proven tech lead with experience planning and leading large projects with long-term impact on a single system or team
• Strong technical grasp and excellent judgment on task prioritizations
• Able to tackle complex engineering problems that deliver results
• History of creating and applying new processes and tooling to increase engineering efficiency
