Job summary

Quant is building enterprise-grade blockchain infrastructure in New York and is seeking a Protocol Engineering Lead to own production protocol work. You will manage the release train from code to audited releases and coordinate external audits, ensuring secure, compliant money movement on programmable rails.

You will explain complex chain behavior to reliability and security engineers and, eventually, to a bank, bridging the gap between protocol engineering and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Deep Solidity and EVM experience with contracts that held real value and underwent external audit.
• Understand rollup architecture beyond vocabulary; know the mechanics.
• Maintained a fork of a large upstream codebase and aware of ongoing costs.

Responsibilities

• Own production protocol engineering and release train from build to audited deployment.
• Coordinate external audits for every release and remediation.
• Explain chain behavior to reliability, security engineers and banks.
