Kite Research - Protein Science internship in the United States offers hands‑on experience in recombinant protein expression, purification, and analytics, with emphasis on biophysical characterization and documenting results. You’ll coordinate tasks across projects and present findings in a final presentation.

Must be enrolled full‑time in a relevant degree program, maintain a 2.8 GPA, and commit to 10–12 weeks between May and August.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled full-time in a US college/university with continued enrollment through Fall.
• Must be 18+ at start of internship.
• Must be able to commit to 10–12 weeks between May and August.
• Hybrid internship; fully remote roles are not offered.

Responsibilities

• Participate in exploratory projects supporting lab-in-the-loop protein production and engineering workflows.
• Recombinant protein expression, purification and analytics.
• Biophysical and biochemical protein characterization.
• Documentation and record keeping using ELN/LIMS.
• Present plans and results in oral and written form.
