Job summary

Keros Therapeutics is seeking a highly motivated co-op to join the protein biochemistry group within the Research Department. The role focuses on learning early-stage drug discovery from a protein chemistry perspective and collaborating with cross-functional teams to generate high-quality proteins and reagents for in vivo and in vitro studies.

Qualifications

Interest in protein sciences and computational biology.
Experience with structural biology and modeling techniques.
Foundation in wet lab techniques and buffer preparation.
Ability to collaborate within a cross-functional team and work independently.

Responsibilities

Design novel protein molecules and variants using computational and molecular biology approaches.
Support protein production in mammalian systems and purification to high quality
Develop and optimize assays for protein characterization (e.g., cell-based, SPR, BLI, SDS-PAGE, HPLC).
Document computational and experimental work in ELNs and study reports.
Communicate findings through presentations and written reports at meetings.
