Job summary
EVERY™ is seeking an entry-level Research Associate I to join two core teams, Analytics and Protein Science, supporting protein development, purification, and analysis. You’ll gain hands-on experience across disciplines that drive innovation in precision fermentation in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.
This role is ideal for someone early in their career who thrives in the lab, enjoys variety, and wants fast learning with a supportive team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in biology/biochemistry/chemistry or related field.
- Some hands-on lab experience (academic, internship, or industry).
- Detail-oriented with strong note-taking and communication of results.
Responsibilities
- Generate data through basic biochemistry/molecular biology techniques (e.g., BCA, SDS-PAGE).
- Operate and maintain analytical equipment (HPLC-UV/RI, Combustion Analyzer, etc.).
- Support protein characterization workflows with bench-scale processing.
- Prepare samples, reagents, and buffers for cross-functional experiments.
- Collaborate with scientists across teams to troubleshoot and iterate quickly.
- Present results to the technology organization in regular meetings.
- Maintain lab organization and proper documentation.
