EVERY Co. is hiring an entry-level Research Associate I to support two core teams, Analytics and Protein Science, gaining hands-on experience in protein development, purification, and analysis within a collaborative, mission-driven environment.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Biology, Biochemistry, or Chemistry, hands-on lab exposure, and a collaborative mindset to work across teams on our Design, Build, Test, and Learn pipeline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology, biochemistry, or chemistry.
• Hands-on lab experience (academic, internship, or industry) with analytical instrumentation.
• Detail-oriented with thorough note-taking, reporting, and communication of results.
• Comfort with basic wet lab techniques and eagerness to learn new ones.
• Collaborative, organized, and enthusiastic about cross-team work.

Responsibilities

• Generate data through basic biochemistry/molecular biology techniques (e.g., BCA, SDS-PAGE).
• Operate and maintain analytical equipment (HPLC-UV/RI, Combustion Analyzer, etc.).
• Support protein characterization workflows via bench-scale downstream processing (microfiltration, ultrafiltration, diafiltration).
• Prepare samples, reagents, and buffers for cross-functional experiments.
• Collaborate with scientists and engineers to troubleshoot and iterate in the DTTL pipeline.
• Present results to the technology organization in regular meetings.
• Maintain lab organization, cleanliness, and proper documentation.
