Job summary

SAB Biotherapeutics seeks a Research Associate 1 for Process Development and Purification to support protein purification, record-keeping, and method development in PDP and Manufacturing laboratories. The role involves bench and clinical-scale purification, notebook documentation, and equipment upkeep.

The successful candidate will have an associates degree (or bachelor’s preferred) with 1+ years’ experience in a cleanroom or similar setting, plus strong organizational and communication skills,

Qualifications

• Associates (required) or Bachelor’s degree (preferred) in a related field and 1+ years of experience, preferably in a cleanroom or related environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and ability to present information to individuals and small groups.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in protein purification on bench and clinical scale.
• Maintain accurate records of purifications and GLP compliance when required.
• Record laboratory notebook entries as necessary.
• Support development of chromatography methods and optimization of purification protocols.
• Maintain equipment in PDP and MFG environments and assist with cleanroom activities.
