Job summary

Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions in San Diego seeks a lab technician to support protein generation, purification, and analytical characterization within the Protein Biosciences group. The role involves expression of reagents and performing purification and activity assays on purified proteins.

You will document all results meticulously, analyze data, and share findings with the team. This full-time position runs 8am–5pm with occasional overtime; compensation ranges from $52,000 to $57,000

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, biochemistry, chemistry or similar discipline.
• Experience in protein purification.
• Experience in analytical characterization.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
• Detail-oriented with precision in daily lab tasks.

Responsibilities

• Purify antibodies using established platform processes.
• Assist protein reagents purification using column separation techniques.
• Independently conduct antibody/protein analysis using HPLC and related methods.
• Document experimental results and share findings with the team.
• Maintain high precision in daily lab operations.
