Job summary

National Star Services is seeking a reliable Protein Processing Specialist to operate in a cold client facility in Chicago, IL. The role requires manual processing duties, knife/saw work, and strict adherence to customer specifications.

The position is a Full-Time Temp-to-Hire with 1st shift hours from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with possible overtime. Bilingual English/Spanish communication is mandatory, and physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs continuously throughout the workday.
Must be able to remain standing and active for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

Performing daily protein processing, which may include knife and saw work.
Following specific customer requirements for cuts, portions, and packaging.
Carefully picking, checking, and preparing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Maintaining accurate and adequate inventory levels.
Paying close attention to detail to ensure products meet quality and customer specifications.
Operating processing equipment safely and properly.
Cleaning and maintaining processing equipment on a daily basis.
Following all workplace safety, sanitation, and cleanliness procedures.
Performing other warehouse and processing duties as assigned.
