Pilgrim’s is seeking a Protein Conversion Production Leadperson for the 2nd shift at the Edinburg, VA facility. The role supervises employees, resolves daily issues, and monitors production efficiency to ensure quality and safety standards are met.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, be a team player, and be able to adapt in a fast-paced environment while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical school degree or certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety throughout the plant and department.
• Lead the department and assist the supervisor in daily plant operations.
• Inspect equipment, troubleshoot issues, and ensure quality and food safety compliance.
• Train and supervise staff, document checks, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
