The Protein Buyer is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing inventory of protein products, including meat, poultry, and seafood, to support daily distribution operations. This role plays a key part in maintaining product availability, controlling costs, and ensuring product quality in a fast-paced food distribution environment.

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase protein products (meat, poultry, seafood) based on company needs and demand forecasts

Requirements

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment handling perishable products
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems
