Responsibilities include handling investigations, interviews, safety planning, and adoption services, with a mandatory on-call rotation and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related human services field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Valid driver’s license and dependable vehicle; may travel within/beyond county or state limits.
• Ability to cope with diverse environments, health hazards, and personal safety issues, including aggressive behaviors.

Responsibilities

• Provide case work services to children and families through the effective implementation of federal/state regulations.
• Receive in, document, and screen allegations of child abuse/neglect.
• Investigate allegations, complete assessments.
• Interview children, families, and other parties.
• Maintain a caseload of families/children that require protective assistance.
• Develop and implement plans for ongoing safety.
• Provide adoption and post adoption services to children and families.
• Requires extensive travel.
• Share with teammates in 24/7 on-call rotation.
